<content>That is an awesome line up...

Recommendation: Take SMALL glasses of this stuff, it's sweet and powerful! You want to try all 10 to really narrow down your favorites.

Pre-Tasting odds: I'm favoring the Behemoth and the Old Horizontal... Behemoth particularly is just incredible on tap.

Lastly: If you can, Dogfish Immort Ale is alot better barleywine than Dogfish Olde School. Buy a bottle of Immort Ale and a Bottle of Anchor Foghorn (if they have them in the bottle) and drink them alongside these drafts... (be sure to de-cant them and pour into a glass!).

This is a very impressive tasting.

<content>I will be there for sure. What a great lineup...Did you do last week's Magic Hat night or the "Heavyweight" night a few weeks back? Both were top-notch, as is usual these days at the BT. The Magic Hat Ravell (porter brewed with vanilla beans) was off-the-charts good.

Hope we don't get packed in there too bad tonight, although that's becoming more and more like an unrealistic request these days. They should really open another blind tiger somewhere in the city to take the pressure off...it's really a shame that place gets so crowded that i occasionally can't even stay there too long.

<content>No food served, although they should have their normal Wed. night free cheese pairings if you get there early enough.

There's usually no admission charge to these events and the prices are by the glass. I do hope they'll provide "tasting" portions or flights upon request because some of that stuff is strong.</content>

<content>they usually serve the barleywine stuff in 10 oz stemmed glassware at around $4-5. I'm not sure they'd pour less than that unless you were just tasting a sip of something...which they usually allow you to do.
