(My birthday is on the 29th). The only place I've been to in roughly that area that might fit your comments would be Iguana. (240 W. 54th St bet. B'Way and 8th Ave.)They have food, good drinks and music/dancing. Can be a lot of fun. I remember the food to be good...nothing special, but according to the website, they've spruced it up a bit. Excellent fondues can be had at La Bonne Soupe, the very reasonably priced French bistro on W. 55th St., bet. 5th & 6th Avs. For those in your party who might want something different, there's a $14 prix-fixe which includes soup, salad, dessert and either coffee or a glass of wine.
