i recently had a very nice dinner at the steakhouse inside monkey bar. their $20 cut of the day is the best deal in the city. same size as the regular $33-$37 portion and when i went on a monday filet mignon was the cut. cooked very very well at medium rare and the crust charred perfectly with salt and pepper. the meat isn't as tender as sparks or peter luger but i though the cooking was done better.
