Thanks Wed Nov 05 06:01:45 -0800 2003 0 Bud 1 1093275 for those who haven't seen the ad, the restaurants are: American Park, Au Mandarin, Bayard's, Beckett's, the Beekman, Bridge Cafe, Bull Run, Captain's Ketch, Caracello Ristorante, Cassis on Stone, Church & Dey, Delmonico's, 55 Wall, Fino Wall Street, The 14 Wall Street Restaurant, Foxhounds, Fraunces Tavern, Gerardi's, Gigino at Wagner Park, Giovanni's Atrium, The Grill Room, Harbour Lights, Ise Restaurant, Johnney's Fish Grill, Joseph's Restaurant, La Borsa di Roma, L'orto Ristorante, Mercantile Grill, Michael's of Broadway, MJ Grill, Moran's, Nathan Hale's Bar and Grill, Papoo's Italian Cuisine, Quartino, Red, Roy's New York, San Marino Ristorante, Sequoia, Southwest NY, Spice Grill, Steamer's Landing, St. Maggie's Cafe, Suspender's, Vine and Waterstone Grill. Of the foregoing, I've only eaten at Quartino and while I like it - simple Italian food at relatively low prices, I think you can dine there for less than $20 for lunch without the special. If you're going to do it, go for a higher end restaurant like Bayard's or Vine, about which I've heard decent things.
