Hi everyone,

Please help - I'm tearing my hair out and soon to be bald - trying to find a place for my office to hold the holiday party this year. We're a group of about 50. During the time that I've been here, we've gone to Heartland Brewery, Ernie's, Cal's, Tribeca Grill, Angelo's, and La Dolce Vita. (So I guess we're looking for more American/Italian food than Thai, Chinese, etc. Any suggestions?

And thanks for saving me from buying a wig!

I would recommend Captain's Ketch at 70 Pine Street. Don't let the name fool you. In addition to seafood, they also have a continental menu which includes steaks, sirloin burgers, chicken and pasta.

The restaurant accommodates parties of 50 to over 250 people in the downstairs banquet rooms. I would call early as they get very busy with holiday parties this time of year.

Hope this helps you with your decision.
