Soup Kitchen International opening date?
Is SKI still closed for the summer, or open now? If closed, does anyone know when it will open? Thanks...

This is the Soup Nazi right? i work a block away - it's definitely not open yet, but would love to know when he opens. I remember last year it was well into the "winter" months, and he still wasn't open...

He's gotten later and later with the opening. I think last year he waited until early December.
I wouldn't expect to see him re-open until at least the middle of November.
It's worth taking a look if you walk in that direction at all. Sometimes there will be a hand-lettered sign in the window announcing when he'll be back.

I wouldn't put too much faith in the note on the window, or the message on the voice mail. Every year one of those two mentions a late Sept. or early Oct. opening, yet it never seems to happen.
I would guess he'd open some time around Thanksgiving.
