Atkins Diet in NYC Theatre District

I'm looking for several inexpensive restaurants that are extremely low carbs for the Atkins Diet. We'll be staying at 7th between 52nd and 53rd in Manhattan for ten days. We especially like fish and seafood; red meat not so much.

How about ordering protein/fat and asking them not to bring the accompanying carbs? Or how about just not eating the carbs? That way, EVERY restaurant is "Atkins-friendly."

Uncle Nick's (9th ave b/t 50 & 51). It's Greek with lots of seafood.

Sosa Borella (8th ave b/t 50 & 51). It's South American/Venezuelan (?) with a good number of meat dishes.

Molyvos 871 Seventh Ave. (bet. 55th & 56th Sts.) or
Milos 125 W. 55th St. (bet. 6th & 7th Aves.) should fit the bill. Both are upscale Greek seafood restaurants that are superb. Milos is more minimalist and modern in decor and sells impeccably fresh fish priced by the pound for dinner. Molyvos is more rustic food, but out of this world. While Milos is almost all seafood, Molyvos has a more balanced slate of offerings, but plenty of outstanding seafood choices. Both should be good for Atkins dining.

While both of those places are excellent, the guy DID say "inexpensive"!

I'd think about Plataforma, the all-you-can-eat Brazilian barbecue place on W. 49th Street. I think it's about $40/person, but you can easily make it the only meal you need all day (or, for that matter, all WEEK)!
