I'm going to have lunch at Thalia this Sunday with 10 people ages 1 to 90 (3 under age 5). Reviews on this board, most 1 -3 years old, range from ordinary to very good. What should we expect now?

I was there about a week ago. The basic Thali lunch/dinner is as great as ever and still a great value. I hadn't been in a couple of years--they added an appetizer menu. There is something called Bombay Crepes. It's one of the best appetizers I've ever tried. Sweet, spicy, tangy, all at once, and beautiful too. The mango lassi is fantastic and refreshing, but adding apps and drinks can jack up the price quite a bit. But you can't fit a group of ten in that place. They only have tables for 2, and if you've never been there, you'll understand what I mean when you get there. The place must be 8 feet wide, seriously. They fill up fast too. If you've got more than one guest with you, you might want to pick another restuarant.

Woops. It just occured to me that you're talking about that restaurant uptown. Yikes, I haven't been there in a while. I was surprised to see that it's still open when I passed by it the other day. Sorry for the confusion. I was thinking of Thali on Greenwich.
