Does it have to be Manhattan? Because one stop across the East River on the L puts you at Teddy's. Their Bloodies are fantastic - spicy, juicy, fresh. A total Sundayitis cure.

Prune in the East Village at brunch -- an entire bloody mary menu (delicious and inventive) served with mini-beer chasers! Talk about DELICIOUS on a Sunday (late) morning. Beware of a reasonably long wait but bring the paper and a good attitude and it is WORTH the wait!
