Any ideas on how to prepare cod roe, soon to be procured on a fishing outing? Seems to be appreciated by many Asian cultures, but I'm clueless.
I've prepared it thusly:season the lobe with pepper and wrap in good smoky bacon. Fry up in a hot pan. When you take out the roe, throw into the hot pan some capers and a squeeze of lemon and alot of chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately.Liz
