Am desperately looking for a shop that sells the txacoli white wine from Spain. Would appreciate any pointers that people can give since this wine is tough to find and I have only been able to find it in the Solera restaurant.

Try Crossroads on 14th St. If you don't find it, try an Albarino. Also from Spain, a great white w/seafood (Valdemor my fave).

Astor Wines and Liquors sells the biggest label, Txomin Etxaniz, which is also available at the Marichu and Citarella restaurants.

They spell it txakoli at Astor. I think there's some variation at other stores too, with chacoli and txacolini popping up.
