A burger stuffed with shortribs, foie gras and truffes?

Has anyone had this and did you die of overindulence?

i did try the DB burger and in my humble opinion it looks and sounds more amazing than it tastes. i found that i couldn't distinguish the foie gras or truffles, even though i could see a different texture of meat in the patty's center. somehow the flavors seemed all mashed together. the french fries were damn good though.

sorry to be late to the table but glad my own experience has been confirmed. Huge disappointment. Dry and no salt. The one good thing is that the concept is making its way to menus across the country and there are much better executions elsewhere. Still think tuna and fois gras is a better combination (thanks, Joe).

Had the burger last month. It's one fabulous burger, I ate slightly more than 1/2 and it did not kill me. I'm a 110lb. female (or at least I was pre-burger), so I think a full-sized guy would have no problem with it. I will say I was slightly disappointed in the foie gras-ness of it, I was hoping for melting foie gras ecstasy through out the burger, but it's only a tiny piece, doesn't really spread its essence throughout.

Had the burger several months ago, and posted about it then. Summary: completely underwhelming. I was unable to find the supposed foie gras, and the burger in general, although cooked medium rare as ordered, was actually dense and rather dry despite the heralded ingedients. Save your money.
