Hi all,
Any ideas on great, mid-priced seafood restaurants
in or near Monterey? I'm also open to unique, can't-find-it-in-SF ethnic and beyond eateries. Thanks for your help!

Try the Central Texas B-B-Q. I think it is on the main drag in Castroville. If not there, try Watsonville. Good brisket. It run by a guy who is a ringer for Willie Nelson.

Have you reviewed the California board (go to the CA home page and click on "California") for Monterey tips? Lots of people from both Northern and Southern CA post Monterey questions and recommendations there.
