where to buy saltfish

Does anyone know where in manhattan (pref. lower) I can buy this? (esentially salted cod) I finally have my Ackee but what's ackee without saltfish? I want to make a jamaican breakfast this weekend.
Thanks for any help!
i see the dried salted baccalo codfish that you soak to bring to life at associated 14th & 8th ave. and at the western beef 14th & 9th ave. that might do but i'm not sure if that is exactly the same thing as jamaician saltfish.
did you score any callaloo to go with it? oh, and don't you be forgettin your rice&peas now dear!
You can get bunches and bunches of it at the Essex Street Market, but they mostly have salted Pollock (which is essentially the same thing, but not, if you know what I mean)....but it's all cheap cheap cheap, and while you're there, get produce up the wazoo....peppers, etc. And cabrito. Yeah.
Be sure to get yer fish a couple of days in advance, though, so you have time to soak (in milk). I probably didn't need to tell you that.
(PS - does this have anything to do with snakeskin boots?)
Is Brooklyn downtown enough for you? Take the A or the C to the Nostrand Ave. stop and then go to ANY grocery store or bodega within a block of the stop and you will find all the saltfish your heart could desire. And lots of other treats as well. Enjoy!!
