Looking for a place to take a work colleague for dinner in TriBeCa or lower Manhattan - something with good food and good atmosphere - and $200 for 2 (or thereabouts). Any thoughts? Harrison? Danube? Scalini Fedeli? Never been to any but have heard good things - open to other suggestions. Thanks :)

Try the $100 tasting (or less if you prefer) at Nobu. If you can't get reservations (difficult on short notice), show up when they open (5:45pm) and grab 2 seats at the sushi bar, where all the action is. Start with a chilled bamboo pitcher of their junmai daiginjo sake, or some White Rabbit martinis. You can request the chef to exclude any items you don't care for(e.g. no octopus or no oysters) or include any items you especially like (e.g. sea urchin, Kobe beef, foie gras)
