i just want to rec the curry potato and corn sandwich i had early this morning at the great little PANYA bakery on east 9th street. very sublime flavor. the bread is so interesting too, fresh and fluffy, but did not stick to the roof of your mouth. it's cut thick and split 3/4 down the middle, which is a great way to hold everything inside. i was lucky enough to grab a table and enjoy it with a coffee. however, i'm sad to say i saw many people walk by with bags from the nearby MCDONALD'S, such a shame.
