<content>Tried Pipa's sherry / tapas tasting menu ($42) last night - white gazpacho with a fino; grilled sardines with spinch with an amontillado; arroz con pollo with an oloroso; spicy duck confit with foie gras mousse and orange peel with a cream; goat cheese empanada with a delux cream. The white gazpacho was stellar and everything else was very good and generous portions. I was a bit hesitant because normally Pipa's $12 tapas can be eaten in 2 bites - they're good bites but 2 is not enough. Sunday night was very quiet there - no scene, no hipsters, no players - overall a very nice dining experience. Next Sunday is the last night Pipa is doing this special menu tasting.
