Does anybody know where to get some chorizo from spain? I tried balduccis/Zabars, but they don't carry it. The brand name is "Palacios Chorizo", and i tried through tienda.com, but got an e-mail saying they were temporarily out of stock. I've planned a tapas party next weekend (bacon wrapped chili rubbed shrimp/tortila/chorizo/cheese & jamon), and I was really looking forward to real chorizo.

Thanks in advance,
bryanj

Bought some Palacios at Amish Market on 9th Ave @ 49th a few days ago. Loved it. They seem to have 2 varieties: a long, circular "dry" link, and a vacuum-pack w/ 4 "wet" links.

About a month ago I found imported-from-Spain chorizo at both Dean and Deluca and the Gourmet Garage in Soho. For the exact same brand--I forget the name--it was something like $2 cheaper at GG. The stuff was really nice--great red bell-pepper flavor, the sign of quality paprika.
