anyone been to Deborah on Carmine St.?

I'm a regular at the Film Forum and am always looking for places to go before or after-- this place has caught my eye. Anyone been? What's good there?

SU from Chowhound turned me onto their brunch. I love their corned beef hash.

Do they have a good variety of pancakes?

              Thanks,

They have a breakfast menu with around 8 entrees (which includes a pancake offering) and a full lunch menu as well. I think brunch is fixed at $11 and that includes a drink. It usually runs me closer to $20 because I love their sides, the buttery grits and the thick slabs of bacon in particular.

Definitely a spot worth checking out.

              • You may not be disappointed with Deborah's, but you won't be overwhelmed either. For the money there are other places I'd rather go. They are in the process of changing the menu, so maybe that will help.

Have you tried Junno on Downing St.? I've always enjoyed it, though others are less positive.

Mirchi on Seventh is an interesting variation on Indian.

Treat yourself to Pearl Oyster Bar on Cornelia St. when you have time.
