Can anybody tell me who takes credit in Manhattan for creating the Manhattan Drink. Appreciate it. I understand there are three establishments who take credit. Thanks.
"Historians of the spirits world point to the year 1874 as the birthdate of the Manhattan, first served at, and named after, the New York club of the same name. The drink purportedly was created in honor of Lady Randolph Churchill, Brooklyn-born mum of Sir Winston, who took the first sip at a party at the club."
