Going to Snack tonight- will I have to wait forever?

I'm meeting a friend for dinner, and think I'll try snack. I searched for a while and found nothing, so I would appreciate any tips if we should bother meeting there. Although, there are tons of places nearby if we don't get in in a reasonable amount of time.

Thanks.

  1. Snack is VERY tiny - I'd say there's seating for about 10 max (at two-person tables). I also have to say that I was not impressed with the food, it was good, but a little pricey for paper plates! Still, that's Soho for you...

    1. I was just at Snack on Wednesday night. When we arrived, the tiny dining area was full, but the very gracious hostess offered to call us on our cell phone once a table was about to clear. She called us back in 15 minutes.

The food was delicious and inexpensive. I especially recommend the Pikilia appetizer plate, and the Greek coffee with dessert. As for paper plates, the plates were definitely not paper when I was there 2 days ago.

Thanks for you help. When we got there (6:30 on a Friday), there was only one table taken. By the time we left, the place was full. No paper plates, just really good food. Great service. I want to try everything else on the menu I didn't eat. We had avgolemeno soup- very nicely balanced without being sharp. Then we shared the assorted cold mezze- the eggplant was nicely roasted. Plenty of pita already cut in triangles and toasted lightly. Good wine (the cheapest red). Interesting- Greek beers and wines on the menu. And we shared the baklava- nice and cinnamony, not soggy at all. I had the Greek coffee- nice. My friend had the wonderful Greek mountain herbal tea.

Can't wait to go back and thanks for your help.
