50th birthday recommendation

Any recommendations for a 50th birthday celebration for my husband. Having between 15 and 20 people. Moderately priced or a little above would be ok. Don't want it too loud and busy, but not too subdued either.Ethnic would be fine, but it dosen't have to be.

I just opened a small tasting cafe at 391 Second Avenue at 23rd Street. I have been a caterer for over 20 years and offer many of my hors d'oeuvres in a tapas format. I also do any menu see my website www.markfahrer.com for more info. The space can accomodate up to 40 guests for a seated meal and up to 60 guests for a cocktail reception. The restaurant is quite eclectic designed by my wife Marguerita a surrealist artist. The phone is 212 889-7522 or by email at caterermark@msn.com
