Desiree / Presidio / Annie Gingrass

  • g

Was wandering about the Presidio today and came across a small little cafe that should be of interest. Desiree is located on the main floor of the Presidio's Film Center Building 39 ( 39 Mesa St. is off of Lincoln ) It has only 13 seats and the chef/owner is Annie Gingrass, formerly of Postrio and Hawthorne Lane. In the mornings, coffee, egg dishes and fresh baked goods are available. For lunch, home made soups, salads & sandwiches are on the menu. They bake their own bread. Their hours are 8-4, Monday - Friday....sounds promising. I hear that the matrons of Pacific Heights are jealously guarding this place as their secret lunch spot.

Thanks for reminding me that I want to try it! Limster's already spilled the beans - here's a link to his post.
