Vietnamese Sandwhich in Near Glen Park?

Just read about Banh Mi sandwhich in recent issue of Saveur (also Chowhound!) Anyone know where I can try a great one? I live near CCSF in SF, BUT! happy to go anywhere!!

    Hi Bunny, glad you found us! Here's a link to a recent discussion comparing two Chowhound favorites: Saigon Sandwiches vs. Vietnamese Sandwiches. Both shops are in the Tenderloin on Larkin St.

    I located this past thread by loading the message index and then using the "find" function in my browser software to search for thread subject titles.

    2. There's a vietnamese place on Mission St. @ Persia called Julie's that sells sandwiches. For the most part they're pretty darn good, but not earth-shattering. At lunch they have them pre-made, so if you go, you have to tell them to make it for you. The rest of the food they have is good too.
