Chinese hot pot other than Bingo in Manh or Blyn

Jean Dec 12, 2001 01:10 AM

Shanghai Tide in Flushing has an all-you-can-eat buffet, where you pick stuff then cook it at your table. Does anyone know of anything similar in Manhattan or Brooklyn, other than Bingo in Chinatown, which I can't stand? It must be Chinese, as opposed to Shabu Shabu or Vietnamese fondue. Thanks

I think HSF on Bowery offers hot pot.

I've never been to one in Chinatown but have walked by some. I started to write an approximate location of one but found it too vague. Sorry. I'll have to get down there for a more exact location. In the mean time, have you looked on either side of Canal? I know there are some on the Detention(Correctin?) Center side. Also, with the cold weather coming(anytime now....) some restaurants will add the hot pot feature.
