Anyone know where to find it? Its available at east coast grocery stores -- essentially very mild American cheese studded with hot peppers. Its typically sliced at the deli counter. I know it sounds strange, but its actually delicious!!

The Cheeseboard has 3 different levels of heat in their pepper jack cheeses - ranging from mild to VERY hot and they encourage you to taste before you buy.

Haven't seen that brand, but I like Sonoma Jack's Hot Pepper variety. It can be found at some Safeways (unfortunately some don't carry hot pepper and habernero isn't as good in my opinion).

Don't know about Land O'Lakes, but I often buy Tillamook (found at most markets, but probably not in the deli case, look in the packaged cheeses), as well as the Bear Flag brand, which is delicious. Try Andronico's.
