Details on Chinatown sandwich decribed in this week's New Yorker
In the Sept 3rd issue of the New Yorker, Calvin Trillin writes a fab 7-page article on chowhounds in general and this website in particular. In this article, he talks about a "greens sandwich".
My question is---- What's the name of or where, exactly, is the place where he gets the "greens sandwich"? He claims it's from a vendor on East Broadway and Forsyth-----but I cannot imagine that this is the same as Saigon Banh Mi, which is a shop of the same corner, but whose sandwich I would never refer to as the "greens sandwich".
