dissapointed at Sandobe Sushi

I ate (or at least planned to) at sandobe sushi on 10th street last Sunday night, and was very disappointed. It has been a few months since I last ate there or at it's sister restaurant, Jeollado, and I had remembered the specialty rolls and sushi fondly, but Sunday left me determined to seek out a new place for plentiful and cheap sushi. The fish felt watery and cold, the rice was lumpy and vinegary.

    I agree - it's gone downhill. And, I've always found the specials menu a little hard to decipher - I'll order one thing, and end up with four rolls - weird.

      I went there monday after a friend recommended it. I had several rolls. Inexpensive but very mediocre. The sushi bar is run like an assembly line. The fish had little flavor and the rolls were prepared haphazrdly. I sat at the bar and was surprised no one else was sitting there as. Apparently the clientele knows the bar is run like a factory with no dialogue between the customer and sushi chef. As a matter of fact it appeared the "chefs" behind the bar only speak spanish.
