I am considering Cafe Asean, Vittorio Cucina,Grove or possibly another, which do you reccommend.( hopefully reasonably priced)

CAFE ASEAN is fantastic. Just want you want for tasty light meals. Besides being inexpensive, you also get the best bonus in NYC and that is....the staff is very kind.

I haven't been to Vittorio Cucina, but I've been to both Cafe Asean and Grove. Choosing between them really depends on what you want. Grove is fairly classic French food. When I ate there, it was competent, not spectacular, but that may be because it was Valentine's Day. I'd give them another chance. Cafe Asean is Southeast Asian. It's less expensive than Grove (no entrees above $15, several for $10-$12) and more informal. It also has very good food.

I haven't been there in a couple of years, but I really liked the tiny garden and reinvented American food at HOME on Cornelia St. Been meaning to get back there.
