green bamboo - a taste

We checked out Green Bamboo Saturday - didnt try enough dishes to draw final conclusions. The pho was adequate but not as good as Pho cong Ly or Pho tu Do - we had grilled pork with cucumber, mint and "tiny rice cake" which was well done. The highlight of our meal was the green papaya salad with dried beef jerky strips - very flavorful. Nice restful decor, plastic banana tree and all, relatively careful presentation, good assortment of herbs, etc. We will be back to give some of the other menu categories (like caramel dishes) a try.
