food. My wife and I are visiting San Francisco at the end of the month and we want to know where great take out or deli food from the city. We're staying near Union Square and don't mind to drive somewhere as long as it's in San Francisco.

I seem to remember a place someone mentioned before (a long time ago) near the Golden Gate Bridge that had great take out. We're looking for picnic food type stuff, sandwiches, sides, things that will be easy to take in the car and put into a small cooler.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Margaritaville Dan

P.s. Non-alcoholic margarita's?!?! Are you crazy or just insane? LOL, hope they tasted great!!!!

For great deli sandwiches and delicacies to go, try Molinari's in North Beach, on Columbus Ave. Their own brand of salami is some of the best you can get, and they have a great Italian cheese selection, too. I have fond memories of buying sardines, anchovies, bread, provolone and chianti there with some friends, and going across the street to the park for an impromptu picnic...
