After hearing so much about how Bolo is not what it used to be, I was a bit apprehensive in going there for dinner on Friday night. I was pleasantly suprised that the food and service were both excellent. We had a drink before dinner at the bar, where we chatted with a friendly and attentive bartender. Moving on to dinner, the service was impeccable as well. I had the potatoe and horseradish crusted red snapper, which was cooked to perfection.

The main reason I never liked Bolo was those horrible tables for two where you practically sit on top of the table next to you, which is unfortunately where we were seated.

From what I hear Mesa and Bolo are hit or miss these days, so either Bolo is back or I caught a good day.

Bobby Flay needs to spend less time on TV and more time in the kitchen. This is concerning Mesa Grill. I have not been to Bolo in a couple of years, and remeber it as being very good. Argeed about the tables. People next to me there were blatantly eavesdropping on every word uttered. I feel like I was sitting down with 4 strangers.
