Artisanal updates?

Anyone been recently? There were a few posts right after it opened, but I'm wondering if anything's changed over the past few months.

  1. I was there just last night and I have no complaints, only compliments.
    We had a nice greeting at the front door and our table was ready even though we were there a good 10-minutes early. Ordered a lovely bottle of Hartford chardonnay (name of the vineyard, not the location) - great choice. Had a lovely waiter...

    Oh, and the food...DELICIOUS...ordered a grande fondue - out of 6 or 8 choices we ordered the special of the day which was "100 cheeses", apparently the chef picks every cheese he likes and dumps it in the pot...also ordered an onion, bacon and beaufort tart and some gougeres for the table - both was delectable.

    Now, in my opinion I could have stopped there (or ordered another pot of fondue) but we had all ordered mains - a lamb, a couple of chickens, and some salads. All were really very good, but nothing extraordinary. In my opinion you come here for cheese related things and the rest is just, well, gravy...

    Desserts, however, are worth going for. We had profiteroles (me), baba au rhum and apple tart tatin. All of which were excellently made and devoured by the table in a matter of seconds.

    For whatever it's worth, the frites looked great, but I just couldn't justify it...
