La Poeme, lovely garden on Prince Street

I'm a real fan of La Poeme on Prince Street, one block before the Bowery, on I think the corner of Elizabeth. When I first moved into the soho, this was part of the lower east side ... slum... now it's athrive with restaurants. But La Poeme is the lovelest one. It serves corsican and north african food... but you really are stepping into a family's living room here, all decorated with plants, pictures, marvelous old furniture, cats, flowers, and the food is very good, and the deserts too are always unique... For me its one of the most romantic restaurants in the city...
