Well I'm visiting NY in March and I've already got my
reservation at Alain Ducasse. There is probably no
dissuading me. I haven't heard much of him on this
board for a while. I assume perhaps he's just not
talked about. I've been to all sorts of crazy places
and have enjoyed some fantastic meals in my day.
Taillevent, Le Gavroche, Susur, Eiginsinn Farm, to drop
a few names. I would love to hear from anyone who has
eaten at ADNY. Please respond in detail, good or bad.
If I'm spending $500 on lunch I'd really appreciate
an honest description of what I'm getting into.
Heck, you might even be able to change my mind.

thanx-M. Stacey, Toronto .

  1. A friend and his wife went two weeks ago, fully prepared to be underwhelmed. Instead they described it as transcendant. He had the truffle degustation menu, and with the wines they ordered and tip it ended up at $1000 for the two of them. whew.
