has anybody been to local? what should i order or not order?
I was just there last week and had an excellent meal. In fact, all four of us enjoyed the food, despite combat conditions - - we were in the upstairs back room which was freezing cold (even for the men)! We asked them to turn the heat up 3 times, in addition to having to ask them to turn the music down that was loudly piping in from the jazz trio by the bar. The temperature got better, but not very much. Meanwhile, the bar area outside the doors to the back room was sweltering! Go figure. As far as the food goes, there was a delicious tuna and yellowfin tartar appetizer studded with what must have been wasabi-marinated roe - - excellent! There was also a terrifc seafood salad comprised of calamari, shrimp, and lobster. I had an outstanding entree of seared scallops over a delectable crab cake. The roast chicken was superb, as well, and the ancho-rubbed pork tenderloin was very tasty and moist! Skipped dessert in lieu of arriving on time to our show, but I hear they do a sensational variation on rocky road ice cream. Enjoy - - and try to sit downstairs if they allow you!
