Grand Sichuan - New Years Special Menu

FYI - I walked by the G.S. on 9th Ave. last night and I saw that they have about 9 special dishes that they are preparing for the Chinese New Year. The menu items are available now. Of course I can't remember these dishes (you'll have to check em out yourself...) but I do remember most sounded pretty good (spicy and tasty) for the most part.

Had the New Years special "live" chicken the other night - served on the bone with cucumbers. It was only so-so, not very spicy or flavorful (said it had ginger in it, but I couldn't detect much). Stick to the "live" kung bao.
Also had the hunan peppers with black beans (somewhere on the regular menu) - this is a truly awesome dish.

Try their tea-smoked duck. It's really fantastic.
