Truly fresh pasta...

Does any one know where to buy fresh pasta in NYC? I mean except for Rafetto's, of course.
Not that there's anything wrong with Rafetto's.

      I believe it's spelled Borgatti's, in case you try to look it up in the phone book. Wonderful, wonderful pasta. pat

        Thanks! I have to get out to Arthur Ave. I know it's a treasure trove of Italian food and culture.

          It's so easy to make your own fresh pasta! Take four eggs, 1 cup of semolina, two cups (to two and a half) of regular flour, two tablespoons of olive oil, two tablespoons water; salt and pepper. Mix in a bowl til it comes together; kneed for ten minutes. Wrap in plastic wrap for 30 minutes. Then roll out. Try it once and you'll never go back to store bought.

            when you gt to arthur ave, there are a few musts, not to miss. 1-carmel wines 2-casa de mozzarella( for the obvious, and colucchio brand of baby san marzano tomatoes-best I've tasted) 3-terranova bakery 3-mikes deli (don't miss the long stemmed artichokes in can from cerignola-outstanding) 4-lunch at robertos 5-the many butchers and pork shops- & randazzo fish market on arthur ave. enjoy!
