I was walking on Greenwich last night and noticed "Good". It was closed but it looked like they had an interesting menue. Has anyone gone there?
re: Barrie Covington
I've been to Good 3 times. First time I loved it. Among the dishes we had were the fried green tomato salad and I think a shellfish type appetizer, both of which were very good. Also the steak, which was very good but a little too salty. Cocktails were very good. Second time I had the salmon, which is supposedly (according to our waiter)one of the most popular things on the menu. I thought it was terrible. 3rd time was brunch. I'd go there again and would recommend trying it but personally I wouldn't rush to go there again. EXCEPT that I do want to try the fried green tomato BLT. (So I guess the next time I'll be going is for lunch).
I've eaten at GOOD twice in the past few weeks. First time, I had the pulled pork entree. It was very good but seemed like an argument in favor or pulled pork sandwiches which are also on the menu.
The second time I had the roasted pork with yuca fries. This was quite good as well.
I see no reason to rush to GOOD. But I'm glad to have it in the neighborhood all the same.
