I have my trombone out and I'm playing "Auld Lang Syne"!

No champagne, though. Instead, I'm treating myself tonight to the best Mexican tamales that have ever existed in NYC (a new find!). And checking to see whether other stuff they make is equally good. I believe they make their tortillas from scratch.

I'll give further info later today or tomorrow. Appropriately enough, it's in Manhattan!
