Coming to NYC...and kudos

First off, let me apologize if this is being posted to the wrong board. In reading through some of the old postings, I know that you've had a recent spate of bad apples here.

This is a great site. I stumbled across is a few days ago doing a google search on "nyc restaurant review". I'm coming to NYC for a few days at the end of next week and I was doing some restaurant research. Doing some searches on this board helped me make my choices. I have reservations at Veritas on friday night and Lupa on Saturday. I'm looking forward to it, should be fun.

I'm in Minneapolis. And I love good food and good wine. I'll certainly be participating here on the midwest board. Because there is good food out here, you just need to look a little harder to find it.

    Oh, and if you can pay back by posting some Minneapolis tips on our Midwest board (or pitching in with contrasting or more timely opinions on stuff already discussed), that'd be much appreciated! We're trying to build up a trove of tips so chowhounds need never eat anything undelicious anywhere/anytime.
