Healthy food near First Ave. & 22 St.?

I've started taking martial arts classes, and after class I'm famished and especially in need of protein. My first choice would be a steamed veggies & shrimp kind of thing, but the nearest Chinese restaurant didn't do very well on its last health inspection! (I'm including the link below, for those who haven't discovered this resource yet.) Does anyone know of a good, inexpensive place to eat near this location?

Tossed on Park Ave somewhere between 23rd and 21st St.--they have good but somewhat pricey (around $7) gourmet salads--you get to pick the ingredients for your salad which include meats and veggies, if you want to walk check out Pump, either on 32 or 33rd St I believe between Park and Lex, they have really good pita pizzas and other healthy dishes--they cater to the fitness crowd too since they're rt next to New York Sports Club or one of those other gyms

    1. a little farther west than you are probably looking, the thai restaurant on the north side of 23rd just west of third and the teriyaki boy on Lex between 22nd and 23rd are both good and healthy; the latter has good soups, seaweed salad, brown rice with hijiki and decent cheap freshly-made sushi (for the neighborhood)- I like the salmon skin - in addition to their rice bowl type specialties, which have very large portions; the thai place is a cut above the average and reasonably priced.
      There's also a vietnamese restaurant on 23rd between 2nd and 3rd, which could be good for a light meal, but I don't know anyone who has tried it.
