Pó - found no messages via search.

  • r

I did a search for Pó and Po, but got no response. Am I missing something in the search or is it possible there are no threads for this restaurant? Thanks.

  1. That IS strange. There are certainly plenty of mentions (in my dining diary, for one).

We'll figure it out. sorry for the inconvenience!

Did a search for "Batali" and found somebody else asking about Po after their search turned up no responses as well. Must be a problem with that short word.

Anyway, I got some info from 1999, but would appreciate more current comments. I'm coming to NYC in Sept and my GF wants to try Po. I've heard good things about Babbo. Any preferences?

      Thanks for any help.

I think you're on to something. I tried to search for Bo, a restaurant that is sadly no longer, but in its day had many many posts. Must, indeed, be the shortness of the name. p.

I think I've passed by a restaurant called Po on this tiny side street in the Village, on Cornelia Street, to be exact. I think that it's pretty popular, so reservations have to be made in advance. If you live in Manhattan, you can take the subway to West. 4th St. and Cornelia St. is about a block or two away. Better yet, ask someone, and they'll be better able to direct you.

    2. Eat at Po's a few months ago---food was great and so was the service.

Ate there in May. The food was wonderful. Order the white bean ravioli in brown butter, out of this world!
