S. Dynasty - Anyone ever eat here?

I'm planning a shindig long distance and found S. Dynasty (on the 2nd floor of the Radisson Hotel on 48th and Lex; used to be the Lexington Hotel) on the net. It has a few private dining rooms, the one picture I saw looked like nice decor (it could be overdone, but at least it's not greasy formica) and the package they are offering me is almost too good to be true. What I can't do by phone or on line is taste the food! Damn, I hate that!

Any of you NY foodies have an opinion of the food at this place? Zagat rates it a 22 (very good to excellent) but they don't always agree with you guys. (Thanks for saving me from Ruby Foos')

Waiting breathlessly for the "truth"...

I haven't been there for several years, but it used to be pretty good (esp for Uptown / Midtown), and I seem to remember seeing some Chinese there, as well as some interesting dishes. Not Wu Liang Ye, but what is?
