Had an early dinner at Shelley's last night, 57th street near 6th ave - in the old Mowtown space. It has only been open about two weeks. Very varied and interesting menu, including Beef Wellington, which I haven't seen on a menu for a long time. We both had the english style fish and chips, the fish was probably the best I have had in New York - the chips are shoestring, a bit too skinny for me, but they do serve malt vinegar! Had a side of onion rings (no diets for these two ladies), a little bit too thinly cut, but good. Huge portions, even we could'nt finish it. Would go back for a second go round.
