We're planning a wedding reception (passed hors d'oeuvres and either buffet or plated dinner) for about 150 in October, and I'm wondering about caterers... A search of previous posts turned up a few for East Bay, Napa and Sonoma, but we'll be in SF. I know the big names, but have no idea how good they really are (especially for the money), and we'd love to try some of the less well-known too. Any suggestions would be very welcome!

  1. I'd recommend Taste Catering. I used to work with them a lot and they are really nice, accomodating and creative. Probably a little more expensive than others although, I honestly don't know. Good Luck!

      1. millicent,

if you'd like to email me i'd be glad to pass on several names who are exceptional, but who wouldn't feel comfortable just being posted as they are rather exclusive and small.
