just tried this east village italian was excellent 5
th betw ane A & B I WAS shocked at the quality of
this little place and really inexpensive everything
was properly cooked and flavorful they allow smoking
which is illegal so beware complainng did nothing
anyone been there

Just had dinner there tonight. Charming place. The
special appetizer of fettucine with bottarga was
excellent!! The chef was not stingy with the bottarga
either, unlike some other restaurants where you need a
magnifying glass to see it. Definitely order it if
it's being offerred for the evening.

Unfortunately, the risotto of the day, with duck and
ricotta salata was pretty flavorless and mediocre.

For dessert, the panna cotta with cherries and the
flourless chocolate cake are both good.

I have never been there but does it have less than 35
seats? I think if it is less smoking is legal. I guess
it makes it more authentic?...?
