Has anyone been to this old-timer recently? I keep
hearing that it's gone down hill. Some friends wanted
to go there for a pre-matinee lunch. There's a special
promotion that offers a fixed price lunch for
$29.50. Is it worth trying for people who have
never been and just want to experience the
place? Thanks for your help.
I was there last year (not my choice -- company theater outing) and found it surprisingly edible; I'd expected... well, something less. It ain't a chowhound thing, but if someone wants to experience the place, by all means send 'em -- it is quite the experience -- all those theater people on the walls, and all those embalmed-looking diners.
