tapas in Soho/Tribeca

Has anyone been to n or Cafe Noir? Does anyone know of
acceptable and not outrageously priced tapas in Soho or
Tribeca? (Flor de Sol has received mixed reviews, as
far as I can tell.)

Thanks.

Go a little north to El Cid on 15th between 8th & 9th.
Authentic tapas ( great scallops ) at a good price.

n 66 on crosby is reasonably good tapas, and much
better (in my experience) than El Cid (the paella
was pretty dry and uninspired). But you must go
pretty early in the evening (~7) to actually get
, otherwise you will end up hovering behind
          people at the bar.

Sorry about the delay -- thanks for the advice. We
ended up going to Cafe Noir, which was pretty good
(if very crowded and noisy), especially the excellent
-- and cheap! -- rosemary roasted potatoes. Light
dinner for two with a half-bottle of wine
(unfortunately, the wine list overcompensated for the
reasonable food prices) was about $40. Not outrageous,
but certainly not what I'd call a great deal.
            Considering the neighborhood, though ...
