Vatan?

I have heard decidedly mixed things about Vatan. Is it
worth trying?

In the summer of 1991, I went to its predecessor,
Jhupdi, in Queens, two times. I had one of the best,
and then one of the worst meals of my life.

I like Vatan a lot. It is extremely similar to its
predecessor, Jhupdi; if you liked that you will
probably like this and vice versa.

I think Vatan is worth trying once for the experience.
I've been there twice (three times if you count the
time we showed up 15 minutes early for our reservation
and waited almost an hour before giving up), and
I don't think I'd go back again.
